On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Business Analyst – Databricks for a 4 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 1-3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) Business Analyst – Databricks - Job Description:
This role involves supporting a project with complex requirements to build insights on Insurance customers across multiple geographies in International Banking. The position is part of the Technology Program Management & Transformation group, providing business intelligence support through repeatable and ad hoc reporting delivery.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) Business Analyst – Databricks - Responsibilities:
• Work with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies.
• Gather requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers.
• Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.
• Demonstrate informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
• Support one or more highly complex business processes.
• Work on multiple projects as a project team member.
• Serve as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) Business Analyst – Databricks - Mandatory Skills:
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, focusing on technical projects and requirement gathering.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
• Experience with requirements management tools, such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
• 5-8 years of experience working with SQL, Visio, and Excel.
• 2 years of experience with Power BI.
• Bilingual: English and Spanish.
• Strong PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) Business Analyst – Databricks – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Any process certification, such as Six Sigma, IIBA CBPP, BPM, ISO 20000, ITIL, CMMI.
• Experience in Databricks.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) Business Analyst – Databricks – Assignment Length:
The contract duration is ASAP to October 31st, with the possibility of extension and conversion to FTE based on performance and project funding.
