On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Bilingual (Spanish/English Data Analyst) – SQL/Python for a 3 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Bilingual (Spanish/English Data Analyst) – SQL/Python - Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic team focused on data discovery and collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). The project involves the migration and transformation of data to a cloud platform, aiming to develop a unified data system for International Banking. The role requires transforming complex data into actionable insights and supporting data-driven decision-making.

Bilingual (Spanish/English Data Analyst) – SQL/Python - Responsibilities:
• Identify, collect, and assess relevant datasets from internal and external sources.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns and trends.
• Validate data quality and address issues through cleansing and preprocessing.
• Collaborate with SMEs to understand business requirements and refine data solutions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools like Tableau and Power BI.
• Conduct statistical analysis and modeling for strategic decision-making.
• Document data sources and methodologies to support knowledge sharing.

Bilingual (Spanish/English Data Analyst) – SQL/Python - Mandatory Skills:
• 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, data mapping, and data modeling.
• Proven track record of working with SMEs to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.
• Experience with Python, R, or similar for data analysis and visualization.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Spanish-speaking candidates mandatory.

Bilingual (Spanish/English Data Analyst) – SQL/Python – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, pipelines, and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques or machine learning fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Bilingual (Spanish/English Data Analyst) – SQL/Python – Assignment Length:
This is a temporary contract till January 31st, 2027.
