On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Data Analyst – SQL/Python/Visualization for a 4 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 1-3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) Data Analyst – SQL/Python/Visualization - Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support a project focused on building insights on Insurance customers across multiple geographies in International Banking. This involves the migration and transformation of data to a cloud platform, aimed at integrating data from various sources and standardizing processes.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) Data Analyst – SQL/Python/Visualization - Responsibilities:
• Identify, collect, and assess relevant datasets from internal and external sources to support business objectives.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies.
• Validate data quality, integrity, and consistency, addressing issues through cleansing and preprocessing.
• Partner with SMEs across departments to understand business requirements and domain-specific challenges.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Conduct statistical analysis and modeling to derive insights that inform strategic decisions.
• Identify opportunities to streamline data discovery processes and enhance data accessibility for SMEs.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) Data Analyst – SQL/Python/Visualization - Mandatory Skills:
• 5 - 7 years of experience in data analysis, data mapping, data discovery, and data modelling.
• Proven track record of working with SMEs to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.
• Experience with Python, R, or similar for data analysis and visualization.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Spanish-speaking candidates mandatory.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) Data Analyst – SQL/Python/Visualization – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, pipelines and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques or machine learning fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) Data Analyst – SQL/Python/Visualization – Assignment Length:
The contract duration is from ASAP to October 31st, with a possibility of extension and conversion to FTE based on performance and project funding.
