Business Analyst - AML/KYC Technology:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst - AML/KYC Technology for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Business Analyst - AML/KYC Technology - Job Description:
The Senior Business Analyst will work on initiatives to enhance AML/KYC technology solutions, bridging business objectives with technology delivery. This role involves defining, analyzing, and documenting requirements to support digital KYC and onboarding processes, translating complex stakeholder needs into implementation-ready items.

Business Analyst - AML/KYC Technology - Responsibilities:
• Lead requirements elicitation with various stakeholders.
• Translate business objectives into functional and non-functional requirements.
• Develop detailed requirements specifications, user stories, and process/data flows.
• Facilitate workshops for discovery, requirements, and solution design.
• Maintain traceability from business requirements through implementation.
• Analyze current and future business processes to identify gaps.
• Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams on requirements.
• Partner with Product Owners to refine and prioritize epics and stories.
• Support QA/UAT by clarifying requirements and resolving defects.
• Document for technology delivery, governance, and audit purposes.
• Coordinate cross-application initiatives with multiple teams.

Business Analyst - AML/KYC Technology - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience in technology delivery.
• Experience delivering complex enterprise applications in a regulated environment.
• Strong requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation skills.
• Experience with Agile delivery and Jira/Confluence.
• Experience working with APIs, system integrations, and data-driven applications.
• Strong stakeholder-management and workshop-facilitation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Business Analyst - AML/KYC Technology – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Financial-services experience.
• AML, KYC, Client Onboarding, or Financial Crime experience.
• Experience with customer/entity/beneficial-ownership data.
• Experience with REST APIs, data mapping, and integration analysis.
• Familiarity with cloud-based technology environments.

Business Analyst - AML/KYC Technology – Assignment Length:
This is a 12 month contract position.
