Business Analyst:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Business Analyst - Job Description:
This project involves Business-As-Usual (BAU) activities within a newly created team focused on platform transformation initiatives. The Business Analyst will work closely with business users to understand current processes and contribute to solutioning efforts.

Business Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end business analysis, including requirements elicitation, process modeling, and solution validation.
• Break down complex problems, analyze data, and deliver clear, actionable recommendations.
• Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical design.
• Review and ensure quality of deliverables such as requirements documents and data models.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate defect triage and resolution.
• Ensure solutions meet business objectives and stakeholder expectations prior to production deployment.

Business Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• 7–10+ years of business analysis experience within financial services or capital markets.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Experience defining business requirements, functional requirements, and user stories.
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and lead complex initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Business Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience within Debt Capital Markets or Investment Banking.
• Understanding of bonds, debt issuance lifecycle, and trade lifecycle.
• Experience with Bloomberg, IPREO, or Salesforce.
• Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, and data visualization platforms.

Business Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension.

ASAP.

Business Analyst - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This role is hybrid with 2 days in the office on Mondays and Tuesdays.
