Business Analyst:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Business Analyst - Job Description:
The Business Analyst will support the delivery of enterprise GenAI solutions by defining business requirements and driving stakeholder alignment. The role involves acting as the connective layer across business, technology, and governance to ensure solutions deliver measurable business value and are compliant within a regulated banking environment.

Business Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Lead discovery sessions with business stakeholders to document current-state processes, user journeys, and desired outcomes.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and manage scope, dependencies, and priorities.
• Maintain and refine backlog (e.g., Jira), documentation, and delivery artifacts from a business tracking perspective.
• Act as primary liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring requirements and priorities are clearly understood.
• Define business validation criteria and support test cases, including how GenAI outputs align with business intent and risk tolerance.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure business readiness ahead of release.
• Coordinate governance alignment including Responsible AI, security, and data controls.
• Lead release readiness activities, including documentation completeness and stakeholder sign-off.
• Capture lessons learned and business impact, feeding recommendations into continuous improvement and scalability planning.

Business Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of experience in Business Analysis in a complex enterprise environment.
• Strong track record translating business needs into requirements, specifications, and user journeys.
• General understanding of APIs, data flows, and integrations at a conceptual level.
• Experience across the full delivery lifecycle from a business perspective.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in regulated environments with risk, compliance, and governance considerations.
• Comfort discussing GenAI concepts at a business level.

Business Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in financial services or banking.
• Exposure to GenAI or advanced analytics programs.
• Experience with tools such as Jira for backlog and delivery management.
• Familiarity with Responsible AI, security, and governance processes.

This is a permanent position.
