Business Analyst:
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst for a 6-month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary or Edmonton office.

Business Analyst - Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support the successful delivery of high-impact initiatives across portfolio. This role ensures requirements are clearly defined and actionable to support efficient, secure delivery. The Business Analyst partners with Project Managers, technical teams, and stakeholders to translate business needs into structured, testable requirements and clear process models.

Business Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end requirements activities across multiple concurrent initiatives
• Partner with Project Managers and Technical Leads to align requirements with scope, timelines, and delivery objectives
• Work with stakeholders to understand and document current and future processes
• Elicit, analyze, and translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements
• Develop process models, workflows, and documentation
• Facilitate alignment across business, technology, and vendor teams
• Manage requirements throughout the lifecycle, including traceability and change control

Business Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• 7-10 years of Business Analysis experience in technology or enterprise environments
• Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, analysis, modeling, and validation
• Proven ability to collaborate with Project Managers, developers, architects, and business stakeholders
• Experience with Agile, hybrid, or stage-gated delivery frameworks
• Strong understanding of SDLC concepts
• Proficiency with process modeling and documentation tools
• Strong proficiency setting up and managing Jira

Business Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification
• Experience supporting HR, Finance, or Supply Chain systems
• Exposure to data analysis, data mapping, and integrations
• Working knowledge of integrating cybersecurity and compliance considerations
• Experience supporting and delivering stage gate documentation

Business Analyst – Assignment Length:
6 months with potential extension

Business Analyst - Assignment Location:
Calgary or Edmonton Alberta, Canada with a hybrid work model requiring 3 days in the office.
