Business Analyst:
Procom is searching for a Business Analyst for a contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Edmonton or Calgary office.
Business Analyst - Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to support the execution of projects. This role involves supporting multiple projects, maintaining detailed documentation, and optimizing process workflows. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities and exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate tasks across diverse teams.
Business Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Focus on project and requirements analysis, including onboarding and ServiceNow integration by defining scope, gathering, and prioritizing requirements.
• Maintain process and technical documentation; create diagrams, specifications, and visual aids to support development.
• Evaluate and enhance business analysis workflows for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
• Align requirements with cybersecurity standards, support secure workflows, and contribute to IT governance and compliance.
• Facilitate communication across developers, clients, and leadership; translate business needs into actionable solutions.
• Work with cross-functional teams including data architects, engineers, and vendors to deliver secure, high-quality solutions.
• Track and manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle; communicate changes and ensure alignment.
Business Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in SDLC project delivery and business analysis.
• Proven track record in business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development.
• Exceptional analytical and statistical skills with a deep understanding of application development and SDLC concepts.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and their integration into application delivery and business processes.
• Skilled in documenting and refining business processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
Business Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with IAM (Identity and Access Management) systems and processes.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow processes including workflows.
Business Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position.
Business Analyst - Assignment Location:
Edmonton or Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office.
