On behalf of our  client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst - Capital Markets for a 4-7 month role. This position is a remote position anywhere in Canada or USA.

Business Analyst - Capital Markets - Job Description
The project involves providing expertise in capital markets with a focus on buy-side capabilities, workflows, and systems. The role requires working closely with portfolio managers, traders, and operations teams to gather and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications for investment systems and workflows.

Business Analyst - Capital Markets - Responsibilities
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, and operations teams to gather business requirements
• Document and translate business requirements into functional specifications
• Support the end-to-end lifecycle of securities and investments
• Assist in the implementation and enhancement of investment management platforms
• Engage in problem-solving and ensure effective communication across teams

Business Analyst - Capital Markets - Mandatory Skills
• Demonstrated experience in capital markets with emphasis on buy-side capabilities, workflows, and systems (5 years)
• Expertise in the end-to-end lifecycle of public or private market securities and investments (5 years)
• Experience working with portfolio managers, traders, and operations teams (5 years)

Business Analyst - Capital Markets – Nice-to-Have Skills
• Experience with investment management platforms (e.g., Aladdin, eFront) (3 years)
• Experience with Cleared and OTC derivatives, Repos, and other complex instruments (3 years)
• Experience in designing liquidity management workflows and solutions (3 years)

Business Analyst - Capital Markets – Assignment Length
This is a full-time contract position for approximately 4-7 months, with the possibility of extension.
