Business Analyst - Capital Markets:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst - Capital Markets for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2-3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Business Analyst - Capital Markets - Job Description:
The project focuses on automating and enhancing Independent Price Verification (IPV) processes within Product Control. It involves the modernization and automation of IPV workflows, integration of market data feeds from vendors, and improvement of valuation accuracy, data quality, and operational efficiency.

Business Analyst - Capital Markets - Responsibilities:
• Drive the translation of complex Capital Markets business requirements into scalable technology solutions
• Collaborate with market risk and other risk management teams to gather requirements and provide delivery updates
• Work closely with fellow Business Analysts, developers, and project managers in an agile delivery environment
• Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
• Partner with developers and technical subject matter experts to define functional specifications
• Design functional test cases and perform testing and valuation activities
• Act as a subject-matter expert (SME) for market data applications

Business Analyst - Capital Markets - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst
• Experience in Capital Markets with Market Data knowledge
• Experience with market data vendors (Bloomberg, Reuters/LSEG, etc.)
• Proven ability to analyze and document market data flows and pricing validation processes
• Experience analyzing test cases, including data analysis and comparison

Business Analyst - Capital Markets – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux command line tools
• Basic Python or scripting experience
• Understanding of SDLC

Business Analyst - Capital Markets – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension and conversion to FTE.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada - Hybrid with 2-3 days in the office.
