Business Analyst - Compliance/Risk/AML:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst - Compliance/Risk/AML for a 4-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Business Analyst - Compliance/Risk/AML - Job Description:
The project involves the automation of Horizon Scanning within the AML Risk Project Management Office. The Business Analyst Specialist will manage the delivery and support of medium-to-complex regulatory AML & Compliance technology solutions, ensuring minimal customer impact while reducing the Bank's regulatory risk.

Business Analyst - Compliance/Risk/AML - Responsibilities:
• Independently resolve complex, multi-faceted problems to meet business needs related to the project
• Lead multiple small projects or specific sections of large projects to implement business solutions
• Plan and coordinate the development and implementation of requirements
• Confirm the validity and accuracy of requirements and follow up with stakeholders as required
• Participate in the systems implementation process by defining business requirements and reviewing test strategies
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of projects through implementation strategies and presentation of proposed changes

Business Analyst - Compliance/Risk/AML - Mandatory Skills:
• 8+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst
• 4+ years of experience within Compliance-related roles
• 4+ years of experience with multiple project delivery frameworks (Waterfall, Agile, Iterative)
• 4+ years of experience with Data analysis, including data mapping
• Strong proficiency with MS tools, specifically Excel (macros, v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)

Business Analyst - Compliance/Risk/AML – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in financial services with Risk and AML
• Previous JIRA/Confluence experience

Business Analyst - Compliance/Risk/AML – Assignment Length:
This is a 4-month contract position with the possibility of extension.

Business Analyst - Compliance/Risk/AML - Start Date:
ASAP.

Business Analyst - Compliance/Risk/AML - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada - Hybrid, 2 days in office per week.
