Business Analyst – Fund Administration
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst – Fund Administration for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Business Analyst – Fund Administration - Job Description:
This role involves supporting a modernization initiative within fund administration, focusing on a new derivatives platform. The Business Analyst will engage in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management to ensure successful project delivery.

Business Analyst – Fund Administration - Responsibilities:
• Collaborating with business stakeholders and project teams to understand functional and technical requirements for the new derivatives platform
• Creating comprehensive requirement specifications, process documentation, and technical guides
• Developing end-user documentation and training resources to support smooth adoption of the new system
• Preparing operational procedures and step-by-step guides for system maintenance, troubleshooting, and day-to-day operations
• Acting as a bridge between business teams and technical teams, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the project lifecycle
• Providing ongoing documentation and analytical support to ensure the strategic initiative stays on track

Business Analyst – Fund Administration - Mandatory Skills:
• 3-5+ years as a Business Analyst with experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management
• Financial Services Background, particularly in fund administration or derivatives trading
• Proven ability in Documentation & Process Mapping
• Experience working cross-functionally with business teams, technical architects, developers, and operations
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
• Expertise in Fund Accounting & Derivatives
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

Business Analyst – Fund Administration – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Familiarity with derivatives systems or trading platforms
• Experience with fund accounting software or portfolio management systems
• Background in managing system implementations or organizational change initiatives
• Experience designing and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans
• Hands-on experience in derivatives trading, operations, or settlement teams

This is a 12-month contract position.
