Business Analyst III:
On behalf of our Oil & Gas client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst III for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Houston office.

Business Analyst III - Job Description:
This role involves leading cross-functional initiatives from planning through delivery, leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to drive automation and continuous improvement of business processes. The Business Analyst III will translate and prioritize business requirements, develop integrated project plans, and partner with stakeholders to design solutions that improve efficiency and outcomes.

Business Analyst III - Responsibilities:
• Serve as a liaison to functional Business Leads to elicit, translate, and prioritize requirements for business process optimization.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions/workshops to clarify needs, assumptions, constraints, and priorities.
• Develop and maintain requirements artifacts and manage changes to specifications.
• Document operating model impacts and opportunities for automation and harmonization.
• Translate complex information for non-IT audiences and support adoption through documentation and training inputs.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, documentation, and communication.
• Develop, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting.
• Design and support solutions using Power Apps and SharePoint.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement by identifying optimization opportunities.
• Contribute to business process optimization and harmonization efforts.
• Assess change impacts and develop change management plans.
• Identify interdependencies across initiatives and ensure alignment to GTM Operations priorities.
• Partner with GTM Training resources to define training needs and coordinate delivery.
• Collaborate with GTM TIS teams to support system enhancements and implementations.
• Act as a cross-functional PM/BA to support multiple business areas.
• Balance workload across multiple concurrent initiatives.

Business Analyst III - Mandatory Skills:
• University degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in oil and gas.
• Demonstrated experience supporting field operations and business process optimization.
• Ability to translate highly technical information for diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Project leadership experience with ability to influence without direct authority.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project, Visio, SharePoint, and Teams.

Business Analyst III – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• PMP, PBA/CBAP, or similar project/business analysis certification.
• Six Sigma certification.
• Change management experience (e.g., ProSci).

Business Analyst III – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position.
