On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst, IT Mobile Projects (Banking) for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Business Analyst, IT Mobile Projects (Banking) - Job Description:
This role involves business analysis activities for medium to large size IT mobile projects within the digital personal banking department. The position requires advanced knowledge and the ability to guide other professionals, focusing on all aspects of requirements delivery for business and technology changes.

Business Analyst, IT Mobile Projects (Banking) - Responsibilities:
• Perform requirements stakeholder analysis to identify impacted or influencing groups and stakeholder requirements responsibilities.
• Develop plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements, improving detail and accuracy.
• Lead various Agile ceremonies, alongside the Product Owner.
• Manage risks, assumptions, and constraints for requirements, and communicate to appropriate parties.
• Lead and facilitate collaborative sessions with diverse business stakeholder groups.
• Build and maintain a repository of reusable requirements documentation.
• Prepare requirements for review and lead requirements walkthrough.
• Work collaboratively with Product, Strategy, and the UI/UX Design team.
• Provide ongoing requirements/build/testing support to developers and QA team.
• Apply advanced coverage analysis techniques.
• Provide consulting services to business partners on new initiatives.
• Provide guidance and support to build the capabilities of junior BAs.

Business Analyst, IT Mobile Projects (Banking) - Mandatory Skills:
• Master’s Certificate in Business Analysis
• 8-10 years professional BA/BSA experience in a project-based Agile environment
• Expert at requirements gathering, documentation, testing, and developing high-level plans
• Prior experience in enterprise level and Mobile projects
• Proven experience in Agile methodology
• Strong knowledge of JIRA, Confluence
• Solid understanding of system integration concepts and APIs

Business Analyst, IT Mobile Projects (Banking) – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Comfortable analyzing payloads (JSON/XML) and mapping data elements to requirements
• MS Office proficiency
• Experience in stakeholder management
• Knowledge of digital banking systems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

This is a 12-month contract position.
