Business Analyst - Junior:
On behalf of our Healthcare client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst - Junior for an 8 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Business Analyst - Junior - Job Description:
This role involves supporting the implementation and compliance with the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA). The successful candidate will engage in requirements gathering, documentation development, and stakeholder engagement to ensure the effective use and protection of personal health information.

Business Analyst - Junior - Responsibilities:
• Conduct requirements gathering and develop comprehensive documentation, including presentations and briefing notes.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand and address their needs and concerns.
• Analyze and solve problems related to the collection, use, and disclosure of personal health information.
• Collaborate with health information custodians and agents to ensure compliance with PHIPA.
• Utilize strong communication and negotiation skills to facilitate teamwork and stakeholder alignment.

Business Analyst - Junior - Mandatory Skills:
• Understanding of PHIPA principles: consent, collection, use, disclosure, and safeguards of PHI.
• General understanding of the roles of health information custodians and agents under PHIPA.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting requirements gathering and developing documentation.
• Experience with stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Business Analyst - Junior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Public Sector experience.
• Experience working in a hybrid work environment.
• Familiarity with accessible communication practices.
• Experience in teamwork-focused projects.
• Additional certifications in business analysis or related fields.

Business Analyst - Junior – Assignment Length:
This is an 8 month contract position.

ASAP.

Business Analyst - Junior - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 3 days in the office.
