Business Analyst:
On behalf of our Consulting client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst for an 8 month contract role. This position is remote with occasional travel to our client’s New York office.

Business Analyst - Job Description:
We are seeking a Business Analyst who can navigate ambiguity, utilize multiple analysis artifacts to ensure completeness, challenge assumptions, and produce high-quality user stories with minimal rework. This role supports the HR technology portfolio, focusing on AI implementation and delivery.

Business Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Lead discovery sessions to understand business outcomes and processes
• Use business analysis techniques to uncover complete requirements
• Identify gaps, assumptions, dependencies, and impacts across various domains
• Support AI-enabled business solutions by defining user interactions and success metrics
• Translate business requests into detailed functional and non-functional requirements
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog and lead Agile ceremonies
• Work directly with demanding stakeholders to turn ambiguous requests into actionable requirements

Business Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in business analysis in a matrixed environment
• Strong business analysis experience and analytical problem-solving capabilities
• Experience with AI-related projects and solutions
• Strong Agile delivery discipline, including backlogs and user stories
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to operate effectively in a complex, fast-moving organization
• Experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO)

Business Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with enterprise HR functions as a stakeholder
• Strong understanding of HR processes and functions
• Experience working with global organizations and cross-functional teams
• Agile/Scrum or project management certification
• Ability to leverage generative AI tools for requirement and testing activities

Business Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is an 8 month contract position.
