Business Analyst:
On behalf of our Public Sector client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst for a 13-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2-3 days onsite at our client’s Orillia office.

Business Analyst - Job Description:
The Business Analyst will provide a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysis services, addressing diverse business and technological needs. The role involves understanding client requirements and promoting consistent business analysis practices within the organization.

Business Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Provide I&IT business analysis services to clients
• Interact with stakeholders to gather and document business needs
• Advise on business analysis policies and best practices
• Lead business analysis to assess business problems and document requirements
• Apply re-engineering concepts for business improvements
• Develop strategies, business cases, and conduct feasibility studies
• Conduct business modeling and define business rules

Business Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• Minimum 2 years of IT BA experience
• Experience with software lifecycle
• Proficiency in structured, object-oriented, and agile methodologies
• Experience developing performance measures for business analysis evaluation
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience with CASE tools
• Team player with a track record for meeting deadlines

Business Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with information retrieval packages
• Knowledge of Information Management principles
• Experience with business functional modeling and process mapping
• Knowledge of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA)
• Awareness of emerging I&IT trends and technologies

Business Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a 13-month contract position.

Orillia, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position with 2-3 days in the office.
