Business Analyst - Privacy:
On behalf of our airline client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst - Privacy for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary office.
Business Analyst - Privacy - Job Description:
Support the design, implementation, and operationalization of client's privacy program and privacy governance capabilities. This role involves working closely with the Privacy Officer, Program Manager, and external privacy consultants to identify and remediate privacy capability gaps, strengthen the handling of personal information, and support the development of privacy processes and controls.
Business Analyst - Privacy - Responsibilities:
• Contribute to privacy foundation initiatives, including governance and accountability frameworks
• Conduct policy reviews and support privacy incident management processes
• Evaluate consent management capabilities and privacy impact assessments
• Develop privacy-protected data initiatives and support enterprise synthetic data capabilities
• Collaborate with legal, technology, security, data, and business stakeholders
Business Analyst - Privacy - Mandatory Skills:
• Strong knowledge of privacy regulations, including GDPR and PIPEDA
• Experience conducting privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and privacy reviews
• Understanding of data protection principles and privacy-by-design practices
• Experience developing policies, procedures, and operational processes
• Strong business analysis and stakeholder facilitation skills
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• 5+ years of experience in Privacy, Data Protection, Compliance, or Business Analysis roles
Business Analyst - Privacy – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with consent management platforms or cookie consent solutions
• Knowledge of privacy incident management and breach response processes
• Familiarity with synthetic data, data masking, or privacy-enhancing technologies
• Experience in data governance, AI governance, or responsible AI programs
• Airline, travel, or other highly regulated industry experience
Business Analyst - Privacy – Assignment Length:
This is a 6 month contract position with possibility of extension.

Calgary, Alberta, Canada, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 3 days in the office.
