Business Analyst:
On behalf of our Retail client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst for a permanent role. This position is onsite at our client’s Richmond, British Columbia office.

Business Analyst - Job Description:
The Senior Business Analyst will implement technology solutions to the business in a cost-effective manner by determining project requirements and effectively communicating with stakeholders. The role involves system testing, user acceptance testing, and conducting post-implementation reviews to ensure successful project outcomes.

Business Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Work with business users to understand and translate business problems into technical solutions
• Document workflows and results in the System Requirement Specification (SRS) and obtain user sign-off
• Analyze and synthesize business requirements, recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes
• Prepare and execute test plans and cases for User Acceptance Tests and End-To-End tests
• Facilitate system/service implementation through training sessions, demos, and documentation
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify areas for improvement
• Assist in routine system audits, including data reliability and security control reviews
• Manage relationships and expectations with business users through effective communication

Business Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in analyzing and documenting complex business processes
• Strong knowledge of business application systems
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Highly systematic and analytical problem-solving ability
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Service-oriented with strong interpersonal and customer relations skills

Business Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in supermarket business operations
• Certification in Business Analysis or Project Management
• Ability to communicate in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin)
• Demonstrated initiative and flexibility in task completion

Business Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a permanent position.

Richmond, British Columbia, onsite 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm.
