Business Analyst - Senior:
On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst - Senior for a 6 month contract role. This position is an onsite position with 5 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Business Analyst - Senior - Job Description:
This role involves working on a critical project focused on business analysis and process reengineering within the Government Services Integration Cluster. The successful candidate will engage in developing business cases, conducting workshops, and ensuring alignment with OPS standards.

Business Analyst - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Leads and facilitates workshops to elicit, review, document, and confirm business requirements and process reengineering.
• Applies re-engineering concepts to promote business improvements through alternative and cost-effective service delivery approaches.
• Develops strategies, prepares business cases, and conducts feasibility studies for business I&IT initiatives.
• Creates user stories and supports the creation of UX, functional, and technical designs.
• Conducts business modeling and develops sound processes for requirements gathering.
• Monitors progress, resolves problems, and reports regularly to I&IT management and stakeholders.
• Develops performance measures and traceability matrices for business analysis evaluation.

Business Analyst - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• Experience leading workshops to document business requirements and process reengineering.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and ability to manage deliverables for development teams.
• Experience on medium to large-sized projects as a business analyst or functional consultant.
• Experience with enterprise business architectural concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in business analysis and project management tools like DevOps, MS Visio, and Figma.
• Experience developing cost-benefit analyses and conducting feasibility studies.

Business Analyst - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with OPS standards.
• Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and testing processes.
• Experience in structured, object-oriented, and agile methodologies.
• Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA).
• Awareness of emerging I&IT trends and technologies.

This is a 6 month contract position.
