Business Analyst - Senior:
On behalf of our Government client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst - Senior for a 6 month contract role. This position is onsite 5 days a week at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Business Analyst - Senior - Job Description:
This role involves providing a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysis services for a critical project within the Government Services Integration Cluster. The project focuses on digital transformation and systems optimization, requiring hands-on expertise in business analysis and stakeholder engagement.

Business Analyst - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Gather, analyze, and document data, system, and business requirements
• Liaise between business users, IT teams, and external vendors
• Lead requirements workshops, JAD sessions, and stakeholder interviews
• Develop strategies, business cases, and conduct feasibility studies for I&IT initiatives
• Conduct business modeling, use case modeling, and process flow modeling
• Monitor project progress and report to I&IT management and stakeholders

Business Analyst - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements
• Expertise in Visio diagrams and swim lane diagrams
• Ability to define use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Azure DevOps
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong negotiation and facilitation skills
• Experience in systems re-engineering and workflow optimization

Business Analyst - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Familiarity with data-driven decision-making tools like Power BI and SQL
• Knowledge of ERP, CRM, or Cloud-based business solutions
• Understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Experience in the Ontario Public Sector (OPS)
• Awareness of emerging I&IT trends and technologies

This is a 6 month contract position6.
