Business Analyst - Senior:
On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst - Senior for a 12 month contract role. This position is onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Business Analyst - Senior - Job Description:
The Business Analyst - Senior will be engaged in projects that involve providing a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysis services to meet diverse business and technological needs. This role involves preparing and advising on business analysis policies, processes, and best practices to ensure a consistent approach within the organization.

Business Analyst - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Provide a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysis services for clients with diverse business and technological needs
• Interact with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather, document, and analyze business needs and requirements
• Prepare and advise on business analysis policies, processes, best practices, and standards
• Lead and conduct business analysis to assess client’s business problems/opportunities
• Develop strategies, prepare business cases, and conduct feasibility studies for business I&IT initiatives
• Conduct business modeling, use case modeling, and data flow modeling for assigned projects
• Monitor progress, resolve problems, and report regularly to I&IT management and stakeholders

Business Analyst - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• 8+ years’ experience in business analysis
• Demonstrated experience facilitating JAD sessions
• Creating detailed business analysis documents, user stories, and business cases
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft suite including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
• Experience with OPS I&IT Processes, Standards, and artifacts
• Experience with Azure cloud technologies

Business Analyst - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with user-centric website/forms design
• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
• Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA)
• Experience with Figma, HTML, CSS
• Experience in structured, object-oriented, and agile methodologies
