Business Analyst – Senior:
On behalf of our Government Sector client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst – Senior for a 12-month role. This position is onsite 5 days a week at our client’s office in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Business Analyst – Senior - Job Description:
The Business Analyst – Senior will be involved in providing support during the design, implementation, and testing phases of projects. The role includes conducting feasibility analysis, project scoping, and requirements development for system and business processes.

Business Analyst – Senior - Responsibilities:
• Provide support during the design, implementation, and testing phases of the project.
• Report progress of assignment on a regular basis to Project Management, raise any issues and concerns, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Lead and/or participate in teams developing solutions within MTO's Transportation Safety Division.
• Conduct feasibility analysis, project scoping, and provide project work estimates.
• Conduct Joint Requirements Planning and Joint Application Design sessions.
• Analyze and map processes/data for current state and future state.
• Use of ministry-mandated requirement management tools and templates for requirements.

Business Analyst – Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• Ability to write high-quality business cases, working with corporate governance bodies and navigating approvals
• Experience with documenting deliverables, including Functional and Non-functional requirements, System Requirements Specifications, Business requirements/rules, Business Process Models, Data Requirements/Models
• Excellent communication skills
• 8+ years of experience in business analysis
• Knowledge with Solutions Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and structured methodologies including agile, waterfall, and iterative
• Demonstrable experience with Business Object Oriented Modeling, UML tools, and techniques
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Business Analyst – Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with the Public Sector architecture
• Demonstrable knowledge of Public Sector applications, databases, and systems
• Experience with supporting legacy applications and transformation of legacy solutions using COTS products such as Oracle Siebel
• Knowledge and experience with supporting Public Sector Digital First strategies
• Knowledge to ensure compliance with requirements for accessibility and user-centric design
