Business Analyst

On behalf our client, Procom is seeking a Business Analyst for an 12 month contract assignment in  Burnaby , BC. This is a hybrid role with 2 days in office per week. 

Business Analyst Job Details:

The Business Analyst is accountable for gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing business requirements for large and/or complex IT projects while producing high quality documentation and providing subject matter expertise in one or more key areas to IT teams, business stakeholders, and end-users to contribute to the achievement of organizational objectives.

Business Analyst Mandatory Skills:

Experience with Advanced Metering Systems / smart meters and/or Itron smart metering software

Experience with the Structured Decision Making process

Experience with ITIL best practices and software development lifecycle

Able to:

Manage, monitor and control projects, progress and costs

Facilitate incident resolution and/or technical designs and/or implementation of AMS system hotfixes and upgrades by providing business context and articulating business needs

Communicate and work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and teams

Prepare investment justifications and business cases

Since this is a production support role, the work may include after-hours and call out support responsibilities.
