Business Analyst, US GAAP Regulatory Reporting (Collibra):
On behalf of our Finance client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst, US GAAP Regulatory Reporting (Collibra) for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s New York office.

Job Description:
The project involves the launch of a new product and focuses on developing and documenting functional requirements for data sourcing and mapping. The Business Analyst will assist in identifying critical-data-elements (CDEs), document element-level data lineage, and manage data transformation processes.

Responsibilities:
• Develop functional requirements for the implementation of a new product across product control and regulatory reporting functions
• Document registered data assets (RDAs) and CDEs for registration as needed
• Obtain process details and develop detailed process documentation and flow diagrams
• Develop and test data quality business rules and mappings
• Produce required documentation throughout the process
• Conduct ongoing review and approval processes for completed work products
• Participate in related data and process governance initiatives as required

Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the banking industry
• 3+ years of project management experience (end-to-end)
• 2+ years of UAT experience
• 3+ years of data-related experience (e.g., Project Lifecycle, Data Quality, Metadata, Issue Management, Reference Data, Data Provisioning)
• Strong ability to develop and write end-to-end cross-functional requirements
• Proficiency with MS Suite (Excel and Word)

Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of US GAAP and regulatory reporting
• Global Banking and Markets experience
• Experience with Collibra
• PowerBI experience
• CPA certification

Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.
