Business Architect:
On behalf of our Healthcare client, Procom is searching for a Business Architect for a 7 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Business Architect - Job Description:
Our client is developing a provincial public health Analytics Engine to transform public health data into actionable insights, surveillance, and decision support. The Senior Business Architect will lead the design of the Engine's operating model, focusing on business architecture, processes, and accountability frameworks, to implement a product-management approach to analytics.

Business Architect - Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of the Data & Analytics Operating Model, including business architecture and process mapping.
• Map the intake-to-delivery pipeline, defining roles and accountabilities.
• Identify capability gaps and recommend solutions.
• Support the establishment of the Data Science & Analytics Community of Practice.
• Ensure alignment of the operating model with PHO initiatives and the Public Health Data Utility.
• Produce governance artifacts suitable for formal reporting and approvals.
• Develop and maintain business capabilities aligned with corporate strategy.
• Design capability models and business transformation plans.

Business Architect - Mandatory Skills:
• Knowledge and experience with business architecture methods and tools such as business functional modeling and process mapping.
• Experience in developing business architectures in government settings or similar complex environments.
• Understanding of diverse business environments and drivers, especially in government.
• Proven ability to identify and analyze business requirements.
• Knowledge and experience in information technology to integrate IT-enabled solutions.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience as a business architect in medium to large organizations.

Business Architect – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Ontario Government Enterprise Architecture processes.
• Knowledge of Information Management principles and practices.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical requirements.
• Experience in Business Architecture development for acquired solutions.
• Understanding of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).

This is a contract position.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days in the office.
