Job Description

Business Central Analyst:
On behalf of our Government client, Procom is searching for a Business Central Analyst for a 24-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Winnipeg office.

Business Central Analyst - Job Description:
The Business Central Analyst will be involved in designing, developing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions. The role encompasses extension development, integrations, reporting, system optimization, and upgrades, providing ongoing support to ensure seamless operations.

Business Central Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Business Central applications/extensions using AL language
• Build and deploy extensions using modern extension architecture and best practices
• Customize pages, reports, tables, code units, workflows, and APIs
• Integrate Business Central with Power Platform, Azure, and Microsoft 365
• Build and maintain REST APIs, web services, and data integrations
• Participate in full SDLC: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, support
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions

Business Central Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 3+ years developing solutions in Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV
• Strong AL programming and extension development experience
• Experience with Business Central SaaS environments
• Knowledge of BC architecture, configuration, and deployment models
• Experience with REST APIs, OData V4, OAuth 2.0/Microsoft Entra ID, JSON/XML
• Git and Azure DevOps source control

Business Central Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Azure Functions, Logic Apps, cloud integrations
• ERP domain knowledge (Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Supply Chain, Operations)
• MB-820 Business Central Developer Associate certification
• Other Dynamics 365/Azure certifications

Business Central Analyst – Assignment Length:
The contract length is up to 24 months, with an initial 6-month term and possible renewals up to 18 months.

Business Central Analyst - Start Date:
ASAP.

Business Central Analyst - Assignment Location:
Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada with a hybrid work arrangement, primarily onsite with remote work possible at Manitoba's discretion.
