Job Description
Business Continuity Management (BCM):On behalf of our financial services client, Procom is searching for a Business Continuity Management (BCM) for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Jersey City office.
Business Continuity Management (BCM) - Job Description:
The role involves providing subject matter expertise in Business Continuity Management and working directly with bank Business Units to meet all requirements in the Enterprise Business Continuity Risk Management (EBCRM) Standard. This includes conducting business impact analysis, developing continuity plans, and conducting exercises to ensure effective risk management.
Business Continuity Management (BCM) - Responsibilities:
• Complete Business Impact Analysis (BIA) to identify all requirements and understand the impact of process and key dependency failures.
• Develop Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and document recovery strategies and workarounds.
• Conduct BCM exercises to validate planning assumptions and test controls, including work area recovery and simulations.
• Perform internal business continuity risk controls according to the EBCRM Standard.
• Ensure all necessary approvals are obtained and escalate roadblocks in a timely manner.
Business Continuity Management (BCM) - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years’ experience in implementing business continuity management practices in the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of Business Continuity Management.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and leading practices regarding Business Continuity Management.
• Execution of policies and procedures and proficiency in business continuity risk management methodologies.
• Experience in identifying and implementing appropriate controls for effective risk mitigation.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
• Strong presentation skills and effective communication at a Senior Manager’s level.
Business Continuity Management (BCM) – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with accessible teamwork and problem-solving methodologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
Business Continuity Management (BCM) – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.
