Business/Data Analyst – Capital Markets - Treasury:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business/Data Analyst – Capital Markets - Treasury for a 7-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Business/Data Analyst – Capital Markets - Treasury - Job Description:
A new system implementation is currently underway for a major bank's Treasury Group, involving the migration of trade-level data to the Murex Money Market platform. The role focuses on ensuring accurate data migration, conducting testing, and facilitating the adoption of the new platform.

Business/Data Analyst – Capital Markets - Treasury - Responsibilities:
• Represent the Treasury team to ensure business requirements are captured, prioritized, and delivered on schedule.
• Work closely with vendors to ensure all required trade fields are included within the new system.
• Validate that data extracted from the system contains all required fields and meets business requirements.
• Ensure reporting frequency and timelines align with business and regulatory needs.
• Perform testing within Murex to ensure trade-level data is implemented accurately.
• Conduct end-to-end testing, including entering test trades into the system and validating that trades flow correctly through downstream processes and outbound reporting.

Business/Data Analyst – Capital Markets - Treasury - Mandatory Skills:
• 8+ years’ experience within financial institutions.
• Experience working with treasury products and Treasury-related data.
• Hands-on experience supporting system implementation projects.
• Hands-on experience performing testing, including data extract validation and trade input testing.
• Proven ability to act as a liaison between technology teams and business stakeholders, facilitating communication and ensuring alignment of requirements.
• Working knowledge of payment systems and SWIFT.

Business/Data Analyst – Capital Markets - Treasury – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of Murex experience.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, Python, and Excel.

Business/Data Analyst – Capital Markets - Treasury – Assignment Length:
The contract duration is approximately 7 months, with the possibility of extension.
