Business/Data Analyst - Level 1:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business/Data Analyst - Level 1 for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, ON office.

Business/Data Analyst - Level 1 - Job Description:
The project involves supporting a Data Science and Analytics team with a focus on AI, machine learning, fraud analytics, and data-driven initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining project documentation, capturing requirements, coordinating governance activities, and managing a centralized knowledge repository across multiple initiatives.

Business/Data Analyst - Level 1 - Responsibilities:
• Document data models, data pipelines, AI/ML solutions, business processes, and data requirements.
• Gather and maintain business, functional, and data requirements from stakeholders.
• Manage and maintain a centralized documentation and knowledge-sharing repository.
• Track meeting minutes, action items, decisions, project milestones, and dependencies.
• Coordinate with data scientists, engineers, and business partners to collect and update project artifacts.
• Support model validation and governance activities, including preparation of documentation and stakeholder communications.
• Execute SQL and Python scripts to support analysis, validation, and documentation efforts.

Business/Data Analyst - Level 1 - Mandatory Skills:
• 2+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, or Project Coordination.
• Experience documenting data, analytics, AI, or machine learning projects.
• Strong requirements gathering and technical documentation skills.
• Familiarity with AI, machine learning, and analytics concepts.
• Strong understanding of SQL and working knowledge of Python.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Business/Data Analyst - Level 1 – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar collaboration tools.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages or data visualization tools.
• Experience in fraud analytics.
• Understanding of data governance frameworks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Business/Data Analyst - Level 1 – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract, extendable.
