On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Business Intelligence and Analytics Architect - Senior for a contingent role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary office.

Business Intelligence and Analytics Architect - Senior - Job Description:
Looking to engage a Business Intelligence and Analytics Architect - Senior within the Information Technology, Emerging Technologies team. This role involves working at the intersection of technology, strategy, experimentation, and public service to explore and evaluate new and emerging technologies. The goal is to modernize and improve services by turning new possibilities into informed decisions and scalable opportunities. 

Business Intelligence and Analytics Architect - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Help prove the value of innovation by designing ways to measure outcomes, impact, learning, and organizational readiness in areas where traditional metrics may not exist.
• Take program data and create clear, credible stories of performance, outcomes, and value.
• Deliver KPI frameworks, automated measurement processes, performance dashboards, benefits-realization analyses, program analytics, executive reports, and annual outcome reporting.

Business Intelligence and Analytics Architect - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• Five (5) years' experience within the last 7 years in the business intelligence and analytics analyst role.
• Experience with Business Intelligence suite of products such as BusinessObjects or PowerBI.
• Requirements gathering and data analysis.
• Kimball Dimensional Modelling.
• Applying Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Data Integration principles.
• Report writing and semantic layer design, data integration development, as well as database structures and scripting.
• Writing specifications, including source-to-target mappings, for a development team.

Business Intelligence and Analytics Architect - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Previous work experience in the public sector or large organizations.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to communicate both internally and externally with personnel at all levels.

Business Intelligence and Analytics Architect - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a contingent position for approx 6 months
