Business Intelligence Senior Advisor - IRP:
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Business Intelligence Senior Advisor - IRP for a 9 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Business Intelligence Senior Advisor - IRP - Job Description:
The Business Intelligence Senior Advisor will provide data and analytics support initiatives. The role involves partnering with clients to understand business needs, delivering analytical solutions, guiding junior analysts, supporting data quality standards, and advancing analytics capabilities through special projects and continuous improvement.

Business Intelligence Senior Advisor - IRP - Responsibilities:
• Partner with internal teams and clients to identify strategic business needs and analytics opportunities.
• Lead complex analytical initiatives end to end, including defining problem statements and developing hypotheses.
• Deliver high-quality analytics solutions, reports, and insights within defined timelines.
• Lead the development and validation of statistical regression and prediction models.
• Provide oversight on data source evaluation, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
• Oversee the development and enhancement of dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Lead brainstorming sessions and cross-functional workshops.
• Tailor communications and recommendations to diverse audiences across the organization.
• Guide exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and opportunities.

Business Intelligence Senior Advisor - IRP - Mandatory Skills:
• Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, data analytics, or statistical analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and R.
• Experience in Microsoft Azure Databricks and modern analytics platforms.
• Strong communication skills for translating complex analysis into business insights.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Visio, and GIS.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Business Intelligence Senior Advisor - IRP – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with advanced analytics, including predictive modeling and forecasting.
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques.
• Experience with data warehousing and data modeling.
• Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms.

Business Intelligence Senior Advisor - IRP – Assignment Length:
9 months
