Business Systems Analyst - Capital Markets, OTC Derivatives, Trade lifecycle:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business Systems Analyst - Capital Markets, OTC Derivatives, Trade lifecycle for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 1 day onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Business Systems Analyst - Capital Markets, OTC Derivatives, Trade lifecycle - Job Description:
The role involves working on various Trade Reporting Regulatory projects and process improvements in Trading Applications. As a Business Systems Analyst, you'll design and deliver technology solutions for OTC derivatives across multiple asset classes. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to analyze workflows, gather requirements, and build platforms that support trading, risk, operations, and compliance functions.

Business Systems Analyst - Capital Markets, OTC Derivatives, Trade lifecycle - Responsibilities:
• Drive initiatives to build and enhance platforms for OTC derivatives
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and developers for solution design
• Perform data analysis using SQL and contribute to API specifications
• Support UAT planning and execution, troubleshoot defects and production issues
• Build strong partnerships with Trading, Risk, Operations, Compliance, and QA teams

Business Systems Analyst - Capital Markets, OTC Derivatives, Trade lifecycle - Mandatory Skills:
• 2-3 years as a Business Systems Analyst in Capital Markets
• Experience with OTC derivatives and trade lifecycle
• Strong SQL and Excel skills
• Data mapping and transformation validation experience
• Requirements gathering (User Stories, BRDs, FRDs)
• UAT support, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria
• Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration

Business Systems Analyst - Capital Markets, OTC Derivatives, Trade lifecycle – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• FpML, FIX, REST APIs, and JSON knowledge
• Python for data analysis
• Experience with Murex or Calypso
• Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools
• Regulatory reporting knowledge (Dodd-Frank, EMIR, MiFID II, UMR, DTCC)

Business Systems Analyst - Capital Markets, OTC Derivatives, Trade lifecycle – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position with potential for extension or conversion to full-time employment.
