On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business Systems Analyst - Expert for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Business Systems Analyst - Expert - Job Description:
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst with expertise in global asset management and investment book of record (IBOR) projects. The role involves bridging technology and business operations to drive innovative asset management strategies, focusing on optimizing trade strategies and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Business Systems Analyst - Expert - Responsibilities:
• Gather and document complex business requirements
• Design client-focused solutions
• Lead project implementation as a subject matter expert
• Mentor technology and project teams
• Align technology solutions with business strategies
• Serve as a liaison between the business community and IT

Business Systems Analyst - Expert - Mandatory Skills:
• Business analytic skills for understanding complex business processes
• Experience with global asset management and capital markets
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel
• Understanding of the trade lifecycle and system connectivity
• Experience with at least one asset class
• Strong communication skills
• Agile methodology experience

Business Systems Analyst - Expert – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Power BI
• Databricks
• Python/VBA
• IBOR migration experience
• Leadership skills

Business Systems Analyst - Expert – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position with potential for extension.

Business Systems Analyst - Expert - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence on Thursdays and the 4th Friday of the month.
