Business Systems Analyst - Online and/or Mobile Banking Projects:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business Systems Analyst - Online and/or Mobile Banking Projects for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Business Systems Analyst - Online and/or Mobile Banking Projects - Job Description:
This role involves business analysis activities for medium to large size projects in the online and/or mobile banking sector. The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for the execution of all aspects of requirements delivery, including planning, elicitation, analysis, documentation, management, and support for changes to Business Areas and Technology.

Business Systems Analyst - Online and/or Mobile Banking Projects - Responsibilities:
• Identify, document, and refine user stories, including acceptance criteria, assumptions, constraints, and dependencies
• Create and maintain a requirements repository, including business rules, APIs, NFRs, and data requirements
• Lead collaborative refinement sessions with tech, product, and design teams
• Understand current business state and operational impacts in coordination with the Product Owner and Journey Operations Lead
• Assist Product Owner in decomposing Epics into User Stories
• Build and maintain a repository of reusable requirements documentation in Confluence
• Assist Product Owner in managing risks, assumptions, and constraints for requirements
• Provide guidance and support to junior BAs and participate in BA Chapters
• Manage sprint activities and user stories in JIRA

Business Systems Analyst - Online and/or Mobile Banking Projects - Mandatory Skills:
• Degree, Master’s Certificate in Business Analysis
• 8-10 years professional BA/BSA experience in a project-based Agile environment
• Experience with online and/or mobile banking projects
• Expertise in requirements gathering, documentation, testing, and high-level plan development
• Proven experience in Agile methodology
• Solid understanding of system integration concepts and APIs
• Strong English communication, collaboration, and influence skills

Business Systems Analyst - Online and/or Mobile Banking Projects – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Comfortable analyzing payloads (JSON/XML) and mapping data elements to requirements
• Experience in medium to larger size projects
• Ability to lead and facilitate collaborative sessions

This is a 12-month contract position.
