Business Systems Analyst:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business Systems Analyst for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Business Systems Analyst - Job Description:
The project involves vendor integration within a financial institution, focusing on implementing and supporting QRM platforms. The role requires collaboration with business lines to ensure technology solutions meet business needs and objectives.

Business Systems Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with business lines to analyze current state and document requirements related to ALM, FTP, and IRR
• Lead requirements workshops and create artifacts such as data flow diagrams and process models
• Support testing teams in translating requirements into test conditions and expected results
• Provide oversight and guidance in delivering business and technology requirements
• Assist in testing efforts through scenario definition and requirements traceability
• Implement QRM platform aligning with business objectives
• Utilize SQL for analysis across large datasets

Business Systems Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• Experience with QRM or comparable Treasury/ALM platforms
• Strong diagramming and process modeling skills
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI-enabled tools
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills
• Hands-on experience with data integration and system testing
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Business Systems Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Understanding of financial products and interest rate risk management
• Experience with programming or scripting languages like Python or PowerShell
• Knowledge of Tableau and/or PowerBI
• Experience creating source-to-target mappings
• Knowledge of data lineage and data governance

Business Systems Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a 12 month contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion.
