Business Systems Analyst:
On behalf of our financial services client, Procom is searching for a Business Systems Analyst for a 12-month contract position.

Business Systems Analyst - Job Description:
The Business Systems Analyst will support the Business & Systems Analysis Team, contributing to a collaborative, agile squad environment. This role involves working closely with business and technical partners to understand user needs, translate them into clear requirements, and support end-to-end validation of solutions. The analyst will progressively grow into full business analysis responsibilities.

Business Systems Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Analyze and define user needs and translate them into system requirements/epics/user stories/data mapping documents
• Work with the team to conduct analysis on business requests with a focus on the links between processes and systems throughout the organization
• Create and/or provide comments into internal and external communications and user documentation
• Review and provide comments on business and technical documentation
• Conduct Business Acceptance testing
• Support business on the roll-out of what has been developed with a focus on end-to-end validation, including occasional night/weekend implementation for business validation

Business Systems Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• 2 to 5 years of progressive experience as a Business & Systems Analyst
• Business acceptance testing, skilled in test planning/execution and understanding the outcomes
• Experience with technology and the ability to self-learn software
• Knowledge of relevant business, processes, systems, and capabilities
• Good understanding of privacy, compliance, control, and security requirements
• Comfortable leveraging AI tools
• Proficient with Excel

Business Systems Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in supporting customer-facing operations is an asset
• Bilingual French/English is an asset
• Knowledge of financial services industry is an asset
• Knowledge of Group Benefits and Group Medical Underwriting is an asset

Business Systems Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract with strong possibility of extension

Business Systems Analyst - Assignment Location:
Toronto - Hybrid position with 1 day in the office.
