Business Analyst - Data & AI Governance
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst - Data & AI Governance for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary office.

Business Analyst - Data & AI Governance - Job Description:
The Business Analyst - Data & AI Governance will support the development, implementation, and operationalization of enterprise Data Governance and AI Governance frameworks. Working closely with the VP, Data, Analytics & AI and Program Manager(s), this role will help define governance processes, policies, and operating models to enable responsible, secure, and compliant use of data and AI across the organization while accelerating business value realization.

Business Analyst - Data & AI Governance - Responsibilities:
• Support the development and implementation of Data and AI Governance frameworks
• Define governance processes, policies, decision rights, and standards
• Engage with stakeholders and facilitate governance forums
• Prepare executive-ready documentation and presentations
• Assist in regulatory readiness activities

Business Analyst - Data & AI Governance - Mandatory Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Data Governance principles and operating models
• Strong understanding of AI Governance and responsible AI principles
• Experience developing policies, standards, and governance processes
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into governance controls
• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong written communication skills
• 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, AI Governance, or related disciplines

Business Analyst - Data & AI Governance – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with data catalog and metadata management tools
• Experience supporting AI use case intake and risk assessment
• Experience in complex, cross-functional environments
• Experience within large, regulated organizations
• Relevant governance-related certifications

Business Analyst - Data & AI Governance – Assignment Length:
This is a 6 month contract position with possibility of extension.
