CADD Technician II:
On behalf of our Energy client, Procom is searching for a CADD Technician II for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Salt Lake City, Utah office.

CADD Technician II - Job Description:
The CADD Technician II will be responsible for preparing piping, mechanical fabrication drawings, and civil site plans for gas distribution pipeline projects. The role involves coordinating projects and providing necessary facility and mapping information to both internal and external stakeholders.

CADD Technician II - Responsibilities:
• Prepares simple to intermediate level piping/mechanical fabrication drawings and civil site plans.
• Coordinates assigned projects and prepares project drawing reviews and status reports.
• Assists internal and external customers with drawings and pipe information.
• Provides facility data research for modifying existing facilities.
• Supplies gas facility and mapping information for engineering and construction personnel.
• Works under direction to execute design/drafting assignments with initiative and independent judgment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

CADD Technician II - Mandatory Skills:
• Proficient in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Understanding of facility drawings and alignment sheets.
• Knowledge of property rights-of-way and surveying principles.
• Ability to read and interpret construction and as-built notes.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail in design drawings and related information.

CADD Technician II – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with CADWorx P&ID.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Vault.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Understanding of Vehicle Tracking.
