Cash App Specialist:
On behalf of our financial services client, Procom is searching for a Cash App Specialist for a 6-month contract-to-hire role. This position is fully remote, open to candidates across the United States.

Cash App Specialist - Job Description:
The Cash App Specialist will be responsible for accurately identifying customer remittances and posting payments to the correct accounts. The role involves creating balancing entries, reconciling cash deposits, and managing intercompany transfers. The specialist will also assist in process improvement and ensure timely application of customer payments.

Cash App Specialist - Responsibilities:
• Properly identify and post customer payments by invoice, quote, and/or order numbers.
• Create balancing entries for short payments and deductions.
• Reconcile and balance cash deposits daily.
• Complete account adjustments promptly.
• Manage daily intercompany transfers.
• Research and resolve cash posting requests related to overpayments and deductions.
• Maintain cash receipts records for audit purposes.
• Support internal/external customers with feedback and reporting duties.
• Escalate unresolved cash items to the Cash Application Manager weekly.
• Work within multiple ERP systems to develop reports.
• Drive process improvement within the department.

Cash App Specialist - Mandatory Skills:
• 3+ years of business-to-business cash application experience in a large corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes, especially in cash application.
• Proficiency in 10-key data entry and Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience operating within multiple programs, software, and ERPs daily.
• BS Degree.

Cash App Specialist – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with SAP and D365.
• Project experience with unapplied or other types of projects.

Cash App Specialist – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position with potential to extend.
