CCR Model Validation Consultant:
On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a CCR Model Validation Consultant for a 2-year role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

CCR Model Validation Consultant - Job Description:
The CCR Model Validation Consultant will be responsible for validating Counterparty Credit Risk models within the CCR Replacement Project portfolio. The role involves assessing model risk to ensure robustness and fitness for use, while communicating validation outcomes to stakeholders for transparency and understanding.

CCR Model Validation Consultant - Responsibilities:
• Acts as a trusted advisor to assigned business/group.
• Influences and negotiates to achieve business objectives.
• Recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of issues.
• Conducts independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues.
• Supports development and execution of strategic initiatives.
• Represents the model validation program for regulatory audits.
• Leads the research and development for validation of new types of models.

CCR Model Validation Consultant - Mandatory Skills:
• Master degree or Ph.D in Math, Math Finance, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in quantitative modeling in the financial industry.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• Strong programming skills.
• Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth.
• Collaboration & team skills - In-depth.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills - In-depth.

CCR Model Validation Consultant – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Python/C# preferable.
• Adaptiv Vendor system experience.
• Previous experience with banking clients.

CCR Model Validation Consultant – Assignment Length:
This is a 2-year contract position.

CCR Model Validation Consultant - Start Date:
ASAP.

CCR Model Validation Consultant - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office.
