Job Description

Change Management Specialist:
On behalf of our public sector client, Procom is searching for a Change Management Specialist for a contract role running through March 31, 2027. This position is hybrid, combining remote work with on-premises time at our client's Winnipeg office.


Change Management Specialist - Job Description:
The project involves supporting large-scale organizational change initiatives through structured change management methodologies. The Change Management Specialist will work on developing strategies to support the adoption of changes required by projects or initiatives.


Change Management Specialist - Responsibilities:

  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities
  • Leverage the client's change management methodology, process, and tools
  • Support communication efforts and enable the design, development, delivery, and management of key communications
  • Conduct impact analysis, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders
  • Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs
  • Complete change management assessments and identify risk mitigation tactics
  • Consult and coach project teams and create actionable deliverables for change management plans (Sponsor, People Manager, Communications, Training, and Resistance Management)
  • Support and coach senior leaders and people managers
  • Integrate change management activities into the project plan and track progress against success metrics


Change Management Specialist - Mandatory Skills:

  • Change Management Certification – Prosci (ADKAR) and/or CCMP
  • Minimum 8 years recent experience in a project management environment, preferably with large-scale organizational change
  • Minimum 10 years experience with change management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including developing training materials, communication plans, and presentations
  • Excellent active listening skills


Change Management Specialist – Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
  • Problem-solving and root-cause identification skills
  • Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere
  • Forward-looking with a holistic approach


Change Management Specialist - Additional Requirements:

  • Windows-based computer with standard Windows applications
  • Own communication device
  • Licensed Visio software


Change Management Specialist – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position, effective September 2026 to March 31, 2027.
