Job Description

BMO is currently sourcing for an Operations Manager, Segments and Growth.
This is a hybrid contract role in BMO Place (must work from office on Tuesdays & Thursdays every week, and alternate week Fridays).

Role Overview:
The Operations Manager – Segments & Growth supports the Customer Segments and Growth team by managing resolution of inquiries from branches and customer contact centres related to campaigns and special offers. The role involves operational tasks tied to Customer Segment and Growth & Acquisition programs, working closely with various business partners to ensure prompt and seamless resolution of campaign-related inquiries. This position also focuses on process optimization initiatives to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute and resolve branch and Virtual Connect inquiries and escalations related to customer campaigns and offers
  • Develop and maintain operational dashboards and update monthly metrics and management reporting
  • Maintain process documentation
  • Propose and implement process optimization initiatives

Must-Have Skills:

  • 5+ years retail banking experience in Product, Operations, Process Management, Branch Banking, or Customer Service
  • Understanding of retail banking products and business processes
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Strong risk and control mindset with proactive issue identification and escalation
  • Proficient user of MS Office

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience in process optimization and automation

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working collaboratively with branch networks, virtual teams, and product managers
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements that enhance customer experience
  • Familiarity with campaign management and customer acquisition strategies
  • Demonstrated capability to handle escalations and provide subject matter guidance

Qualifications

Experience in process optimization and automation: 0 - 4 years (Desired)
retail banking experience in Product, Operations, Process Management, Branch Banking, or Customer Service: 5 - 5 years (Required)
