CI/CD Cloud Engineer - GCP w GKE:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a CI/CD Cloud Engineer - GCP w GKE for a 3-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

CI/CD Cloud Engineer - GCP w GKE - Job Description:
The role involves supporting several high-profile modernization initiatives, including CNAPP modernization and DevSecOps transformation. The candidate will be involved in enterprise migration and modernization initiatives, such as transitioning from Bitbucket to GitHub and developing a new Developer Portal to enhance governance and developer experience.

CI/CD Cloud Engineer - GCP w GKE - Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with business lines and Digital Banking stakeholders to plan, design, and implement technology solutions.
• Deliver project milestones and technology initiatives aligned with approved product roadmaps.
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance cloud platforms, services, and automation components.
• Build and maintain scalable CI/CD solutions using modern DevOps tools and best practices.
• Support the integration of security, compliance, and governance controls throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while ensuring solutions meet quality standards.
• Partner with stakeholders to manage scope, risks, and project dependencies.
• Mentor and support junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and engineering excellence.

CI/CD Cloud Engineer - GCP w GKE - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years’ experience in software engineering, development, cloud engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering.
• 3+ years of recent experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GKE.
• Hands-on experience with at least 2 of the following technologies: Java Gradle, NodeJS, Typescript, Python, Golang, Java Maven.
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Cloudbees, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Argo).

CI/CD Cloud Engineer - GCP w GKE – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with cloud technologies: GCP (preferred), Azure accepted.
• Experience building large-scale IAC-based deployments in Terraform (or Open Tofu).
• Knowledgeable with policy-as-code and deployment gating concepts.

CI/CD Cloud Engineer - GCP w GKE – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position to October 31st, with the possibility of extension and conversion to FTE.

ASAP.

CI/CD Cloud Engineer - GCP w GKE - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days in the office per week.
