Cloud Platform Engineer x2:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Cloud Platform Engineer for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 1 day onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Cloud Platform Engineer x2 - Job Description:
The Senior Platform Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting reusable cloud platform capabilities in Azure. The role involves enabling cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices, and emerging AI workloads through infrastructure automation, platform standardization, and engineering best practices. The engineer will support the design, build, and enhancement of Azure-based platform services, focusing on infrastructure automation, Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD modernization, observability improvements, and cloud-native application enablement.

Cloud Platform Engineer x2 - Responsibilities:
• Design and support Azure cloud environments
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines
• Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform
• Manage Kubernetes and Docker container platforms
• Enhance cloud platform operations for scalability, resiliency, and security
• Provide monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, security, and delivery teams

Cloud Platform Engineer x2 - Mandatory Skills:
• 8+ years of experience in platform engineering, cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering
• Hands-on experience with Azure
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure-as-code
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• CI/CD pipeline development and optimization skills
• Automation scripting using Python
• Strong understanding of cloud platform operations, scalability, resiliency, and security

Cloud Platform Engineer x2 – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience supporting GenAI, AI/ML, or RAG platforms
• Knowledge of Azure API Management (APIM)
• Bash scripting skills
• Familiarity with Databricks
• Experience building reusable enterprise platform services

Cloud Platform Engineer x2 – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position with potential for extension or conversion to full-time employment.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring 1 day in the office per week.
