Cloud Security DevSecOps Engineer (AWS Focus):
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Cloud Security DevSecOps Engineer (AWS Focus) for a 14 month contract role. This position is remote, based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Cloud Security DevSecOps Engineer (AWS Focus) - Job Description:
The Cloud Security DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing secure cloud solutions with a focus on AWS. The role involves evaluating new technologies and their impacts, supporting R&D of development frameworks, and interacting with stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet business and customer needs.

Cloud Security DevSecOps Engineer (AWS Focus) - Responsibilities:
• Conceive and write detailed software implementations/code adhering to security and performance standards.
• Evaluate new technologies for fit with the program/system/eco-system.
• Support research and development of development frameworks and standards.
• Lead and implement initiatives to deliver business objectives.
• Interact with stakeholders to define and deliver requirements.
• Assess costs and benefits of solutions and recommend designs.
• Design solutions, write code, perform unit testing, and facilitate final delivery.

Cloud Security DevSecOps Engineer (AWS Focus) - Mandatory Skills:
• Experience as an Integration Engineer in different stages of SDLC.
• Proficiency in Shell Scripting and Automation.
• Experience automating with Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, YAML, JSON.
• Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux Server platform.
• Deep understanding of middleware technologies and basic database technologies.
• Knowledge of required programming languages with minimal oversight.
• Understanding of technical/business environment and processes.

Cloud Security DevSecOps Engineer (AWS Focus) – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with WebSphere, HAProxy, IBM HTTP Server, Oracle.
• Experience in accessible technology solutions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Participation in professional associations or practice communities.

This is a 14 month contract position.
