Content Designer/Writer:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Content Designer/Writer for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Content Designer/Writer - Job Description:
In this role, you will be part of a cross-disciplinary team working on public-facing digital platforms. You will focus on creating human-centered, accessible, and SEO-optimized content that aligns with business goals and user needs.

Content Designer/Writer - Responsibilities:
• Conduct content strategy tasks and UX research, including competitive research and drafting usability questions
• Write, edit, and proofread copy that meets brand, business, and accessibility standards
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure content alignment with business objectives
• Manage the editorial process, including supporting French translation and maintaining style/brand standards
• Build and maintain pages in the CMS, troubleshooting and addressing defects as needed
• Stay current on emerging web technologies and SEO best practices

Content Designer/Writer - Mandatory Skills:
• Degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, or Technical Writing with strong language skills
• Experience in a digital marketing/editorial environment - 2+ years
• Excellent working knowledge of CP Style - 2+ years
• Experience writing for web and/or digital properties - 2+ years
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams of UX and Creative Designers - 2+ years
• Tech savvy and open to learning new technologies

Content Designer/Writer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with AEM or similar CMS
• Familiarity with enterprise project methodologies and publishing/workflow tools
• Previous experience working with Product Design Leads
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.0 Accessibility Standards and plain language principles
• Working knowledge of SEO and user experience

Content Designer/Writer – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a full-time role.

Content Designer/Writer - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence every Wednesday and the third Friday of every month.
