Contract Conformance Specialist IV:
On behalf of our Oil & Gas client, Procom is searching for a Contract Conformance Specialist IV for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Houston office. 

Contract Conformance Specialist IV - Job Description:
This position provides senior-level support for supplier contracting activities at Enbridge. The role involves drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing contractual terms using approved templates and legal guidelines. The Specialist collaborates with various stakeholders to ensure compliant and efficient contracting outcomes.

Contract Conformance Specialist IV - Responsibilities:
• Independently draft, review, revise, and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
• Review supplier redlines and prepare risk-informed responses.
• Facilitate supplier negotiations on contractual terms within defined risk parameters.
• Advise stakeholders on appropriate contract type selection based on various factors.
• Coordinate internal input from multiple stakeholders to resolve contract issues.
• Engage business stakeholders to confirm necessary contract details.
• Document business decisions and negotiation rationale in Contracts Center systems.
• Create and maintain contract records in Oracle and other systems.
• Identify recurring contracting issues and opportunities for process improvement.
• Promote consistent application of approved contract language and best practices.

Contract Conformance Specialist IV - Mandatory Skills:
• A minimum of a university degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of seven years of experience in supply chain, contract management, or related fields.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex supplier agreements.
• Strong understanding of contracting principles and ability to interpret various factors for contracting.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong judgment, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, and Oracle.

Contract Conformance Specialist IV – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Relevant certifications in contract management or supply chain.
• Experience with energy infrastructure contracting or joint ventures.
• Knowledge of master agreement strategy and supplier onboarding terms.
• Familiarity with contract playbooks and alternate clause libraries.
• Experience with process improvement or negotiation trend analysis.
