Contract Conformance Specialist IV:
On behalf of our Energy client, Procom is searching for a Contract Conformance Specialist IV for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Middletown, Pennsylvania office.

Contract Conformance Specialist IV - Job Description:
The Contract Conformance Specialist IV is responsible for day-to-day conformance responsibilities for all executed contractual arrangements of assigned capital and maintenance projects. The role involves managing documentation and communication related to contractual relationships, ensuring obligations are met, and facilitating the resolution of contractual matters.

Contract Conformance Specialist IV - Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate understanding of and compliance with Project Execution contracting strategy.
• Facilitate preparation of contract exhibits, including scope, specifications, pricing, and special instructions.
• Assist in writing technical contract language for each assigned project.
• Support project management in contractor contract negotiations.
• Coordinate project team in developing a project-specific communication plan.
• Review contractor submissions for compliance and notify of non-compliance.
• Maintain contractor correspondence and documentation logs.
• Manage change order process and prepare change orders for approval.
• Prepare meeting agendas and distribute meeting notes for contract-related meetings.
• Establish and implement project contract document control and retention system.
• Review contractor invoices for compliance and process for payment.
• Coordinate contract close-out and ensure compliance with related contracts.
• Provide assistance during compliance audits.
• Communicate ongoing project contractual requirements and issues with Team Lead SCM Major Projects Sourcing.

Contract Conformance Specialist IV - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, legal, technical, or business discipline with 4 years of relevant experience, or Associate’s degree with 7-10 years of experience.
• Specific knowledge and experience in contracting processes related to energy industry construction projects.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Excellent human relations and listening skills.
• Ability to develop collaborative working relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.

Contract Conformance Specialist IV – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in the gas pipeline industry.
• Familiarity with best management practices for contracting.
• Ability to support negotiation of complex contracting issues.
• Technical writing skills.
• Experience with Oracle Purchase Orders.

Contract Conformance Specialist IV – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position.
