Contract Field Business Technician:
On behalf of our Oil & Gas client, Procom is searching for a Contract Field Business Technician for a 12 month contract. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Grande Prairie office.

Contract Field Business Technician - Job Description:
The Contract Field Business Technician will support day-to-day administrative requests both internally and externally, working independently while utilizing experience and judgment to make informed decisions. The role involves managing communication within the department and maintaining a solid understanding of departmental and business unit objectives.

Contract Field Business Technician - Responsibilities:
• Act as a key communicator within the department, ensuring timely and effective information distribution using Outlook, MS Teams, SharePoint, etc.
• Handle general department administration, including preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations.
• Develop and maintain inter-departmental relationships to manage IT requests and process invoicing/requisitions.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and initiate service requests for office equipment and supplies.
• Update and distribute procedures, monitoring guides, org charts, handbooks, and manuals.
• Ensure compliance with all HS&E requirements.

Contract Field Business Technician - Mandatory Skills:
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail and disciplined work ethic
• Advanced interpersonal skills, including communication and conflict resolution
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Contract Field Business Technician – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Administration or Business Diploma from a technical school or Community College
• Experience in an administrative role in the oil and gas industry
• Experience with SAP
• Professionalism and confidentiality
• Collaborative team player

Contract Field Business Technician – Assignment Length:
This is a contingent position for approx. 12 months

Grande Prairie, Alberta, onsite.
